So when I did section 3.4 today, I had some difficulties. There were soooooo many problems that my brain was a pile of mush by the time I was done. I will put up some of the questions I had problems with and see if anyone either had the same problems or has answers for me. :)
Section 3.4 I
Numbers 2, 3, 7, 10, 13, and 16.
Section 3.4 III
Numbers 1-50.... just kidding
but really Numbers 4,5,8,10,12,19,24, 35, 41,43 and 48
If anyone got the answers or also had trouble with those questions feel free to talk about them :).
I thought that
ReplyDelete2. was a fallacy of composition because it took the parts of a paragraph ( the sentences) and then made a conclusion about the whole based on those parts.
3. was a fallacy of equivocation, because it did what the example did in using the same adjective to describe two independent qualities.
7. just goes in a circle, so i thought it was fallacy that begs the question.
10. kind of does the same thing as 7, in that it went in a circle, so it seemed like another fallacy that begs the question
i my self had a little trouble with the rest of them, what was your impression about them though?
Well, for a lot of them I just narrowed it down to a few choices and made an educated guess from there. I know that is probably not the best way to answer questions, but I was really struggling and that seemed to work the best for me. I would first eliminate the ones that had no possibility of being correct and then narrow my possibilities from there. I hope to just get better at doing this as I answer more similar questions.
